Budget monitoring center (BMC) of Petrozavodsk state university (PetrSU) was created in March 2003. BMC is a structural department of the university.
Mission of BMC is independent analysis and forecasting of social and economic development of Russian society.
Scientific specialization and main directions of BMC activities include information-analytical activity on federal and regional levels (on the basis of computer modeling software interacting with databases) in the following fields:
- analysis and forecast of education services and labour market development;
- doctorate holders training with regard to priority areas of science and technologies;
- applied budgetary analysis in the field of science and education.
